SFA - Smoke & Fire Alert
Intelligent fire detection for video surveillance systems
SFA is a video-based event detection system for the early detection of smoke and flame. It uses standard video signals to detect incidents more quickly than classic detectors. SFA consists of one or more powerful analyser units running on a PC platform and a remote alarm management workstation for configuration and surveillance.

Wide Application Range
There are many circumstances when conventional smoke and fire detection systems can not work effectively due to large open spaces or strong air currents. Video-based smoke and fire detection enables fast identification of alarm conditions at great distances, over a wide angle of view. It is inherently more robust in applications such as tunnels, outdoor areas (car parks, industrial sites, etc.) and surveillance of large indoor facilities (power plants, warehouses, etc).
